To provide an occupant protection device which prevents an airbag provided on a lap belt part from being less prone to expand due to an interference object, despite that the interference object appears at a front side of a seat.SOLUTION: An occupant protection device 10 comprises an airbag 30 provided on a lap belt part 13 constraining the waist MW of an occupant M. A bag body part 30a of the airbag 30 expands when inflating gas is fed, to receive the occupant M, and includes: a rear wall part 30a1 abutting on the occupant M; a front wall part 30a2 which is arranged at an interval from the rear wall part 30a1 ahead of the rear wall part 30a1, and which is connected to the other end of a tether 30c whose one end is connected to the rear wall part 30a1; and an upper wall part 30a3 connecting the rear wall part 30a1 and the front wall part 30a2, above the tether 30c.
