DETERGENT COMPOSITION FOR FIBER PRODUCTS

To provide a detergent composition for fiber products that effectively kills bacteria, including E. coli, and superbly bleaches out bacteria-derived stains on fiber products, and a method for cleaning fiber products.SOLUTION: A detergent composition for fiber products contains the following component (a), component (b), component (c), and water, with a pH of 1 or more and 5 or less at 25°C. Component (a): at least one compound selected from the following component (a1), component (a2), component (a3), and component (a4). Component (a1): quaternary ammonium salt. Component (a2): alkyl amine having 14 or more carbon atoms. Component (a3): alkyl amine oxide having 14 or more carbon atoms. Component (a4): bispyridinium compound. Component (b): compound represented by the general formula (b1): R1b-O-(EO)n-H (b1) [where R1b is a C8-24 hydrocarbon group, EO is an ethyleneoxy group, n is an average number of added moles, representing a number of 0 or more and less than 10].
