Zusammenfassung:To provide a method for inspecting segment coil coatings that can check for insulation defects when manufacturing segment coils.SOLUTION: An inspection method for segment coil coating of the present disclosure is a method for inspecting a coating on a segment coil, which inspects the thickness of coating at a curved portion of a U-shaped segment coil. When a voltage is applied to a first curved surface and a second curved surface of the curved portion and if the voltage decreases by a predetermined value or more during a period until the voltage reaches an allowable voltage, the coating on the curved portion is determined to have undergone insulation breakdown.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】セグメントコイルを製造する際に絶縁不良を検査できるセグメントコイル被膜の検査方法を提供することができる。【解決手段】本開示に係るセグメントコイル被膜の検査方法は、U字型のセグメントコイルの湾曲部における被膜の厚さを検査する前記セグメントコイル被膜の検査方法である。湾曲部の第一の曲面と第二の曲面に対して電圧を印加し、電圧が許容電圧に達するまでの期間に、電圧が所定値以上減少した場合、湾曲部の被膜が絶縁破壊していると判断する。【選択図】図3
