To output, with good accuracy, the leakage amount of steam of a steam trap whose type and model are different from some type and model.SOLUTION: A diagnosis device comprises: a sensor that outputs an analog signal indicating the vibration of a third steam trap; an amplification circuit for the output signal of the sensor; a setting unit that sets the product of the ratio of a vibration value when vibration saturates in the first steam trap to a vibration value when vibration saturates in the second steam trap and a reference gain, as a gain of the amplification circuit; an A/D converter that converts the output signal of the amplification circuit into a digital signal; an amplification unit that amplifies the output signal of the A/D converter with the ratio of the vibration value of vibration characteristic of the second steam trap to the vibration value of vibration characteristic of the third steam trap; a conversion unit that converts the vibration value of the third steam trap indicated by the output signal of the amplification unit into the leakage amount of steam; an output unit; and a correction unit that, when it is detected that the conversion unit overflows, increases or reduces the gain until it is detected that the conversion unit is no longer overflowing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ある型式及びモデルとは異なる型式及びモデルの蒸気トラップの蒸気の漏洩量を精度良く出力する。【解決手段】診断装置は、第３蒸気トラップの振動を示すアナログ信号を出力するセンサと、センサの出力信号の増幅回路と、第２蒸気トラップにおいて振動が飽和するときの振動値に対する第１蒸気トラップにおいて振動が飽和するときの振動値の比率と基準ゲインの積を増幅回路のゲインとして設定する設定部と、増幅回路の出力信号をデジタル信号に変換するＡＤ変換器と、第３蒸気トラップの振動特性の振動値に対する第２蒸気トラップの振動特性の振動値の比率でＡＤ変換器の出力信号を増幅する増幅部と、増幅部の出力信号が示す第３蒸気トラップの振動値を蒸気の漏洩量に変換する変換部と、出力部と、変換部のオーバーフローを検知した場合、変換部がオーバーフローしていないことを検知するまで、ゲインを減少又は増大させる補正部と、を備える。【選択図】図１
