To easily move a cover member upward when a throw-in opening of a garbage throw-in box is opened, and to improve a degree of freedom in mounting of an accessory component in an outside surface of the garbage throw-in box.SOLUTION: A garbage collection vehicle 1 comprises: a garbage storage box 2; a garbage throw-in box 3 having a throw-in opening 3a; a loading device T; an arm member 30 whose base end part 31 is supported to be rotatable vertically with respect to the garbage throw-in box 3; a cover member 20 connected to a tip end part 32 of the arm member 30 so as to be able to move vertically by the vertical rotation of the arm member 30; and an extension coil spring 41 whose one end part 41b is locked on the arm member 30 so as to energize the arm member 30 in a direction of moving upward in a state where the cover member 20 closes the throw-in opening 3a, and the other end part 41b is locked on the cover member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】塵芥投入箱の投入口を開放するときにカバー部材を容易に上方移動させることができ、かつ塵芥投入箱の外側面における付属部品の取り付け自由度を高める。【解決手段】塵芥収集車１は、塵芥収容箱２と、投入口３ａを有する塵芥投入箱３と、積込装置Ｔと、基端部３１が塵芥投入箱３に対して上下回動可能に支持されているアーム部材３０と、アーム部材３０の先端部３２に連結されてアーム部材３０の上下回動により上下移動可能なカバー部材２０と、カバー部材２０が投入口３ａを閉鎖している状態でアーム部材３０を上方回動させる方向へ付勢するように一端部４１ｂがアーム部材３０に係止され、かつ他端部４１ｂがカバー部材２０に係止されている引張コイルばね４１と、を備える。【選択図】図３
