To provide an electric connector for a circuit board and an electric connector with a circuit board for easily fitting a component to avoid a reduction in the signal transmission characteristics of a terminal.SOLUTION: An electric connector for a circuit board 1 includes a cover member 90 made of an electrical insulation material, mounted on a housing 10 in a prescribed mounting direction. The cover member 90 includes a plate-like body part 91 with a plate surface that extends in a direction that intersects the mounting direction.
