HARMFUL SUBSTANCE TREATMENT AGENT, AND WASTE WATER OR GAS TREATMENT METHOD USING THE SAME

To provide a treatment agent for removing heavy metals such as selenium, cadmium, arsenic and a lead compound, and a harmful substance such as hydrogen gas, and a waste water or gas treatment method using the treatment agent.SOLUTION: A treatment agent contains a tectosilicate mineral which is an aluminosilicate mineral containing radical sulfur in a crystal structure and has a basic structure of (AlSiO4)X as an essential component.
