To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner having a high sterilization effect on a target area for sterilization.SOLUTION: An indoor unit 100 of an air conditioner comprises: a light emitting device 7 having a light emitting unit 72 that emits ultraviolet light and a focusing lens arranged so as to cover the light emitting unit 72; and an indoor unit body 101 with the light emitting device 7 arranged inside. The indoor unit body 101 comprises a forming member 4 that forms an air channel inside the indoor unit body 101. The light emitting device 7 is arranged at a position for irradiating the forming member 4 with ultraviolet light.
