| Zusammenfassung: | To provide a gas collection device and gas collection method, each enabling formation of a through-hole in the surface of a housing facility formed of metallic material without using an electric power source, thereby enabling collection of internal gas.SOLUTION: A gas collection device comprises: housing facility formed of metallic material; a housing space in which a corrosion medium attached to the surface of the housing facility and corroding metallic raw material is housed in such a manner that the corrosion medium is in contact with the surface of the housing facility; and a hermetically sealing container attached to the surface of the housing facility and hermetically sealing and covering the housing space. A through-hole is formed by housing the corrosion medium in the housing space and advancing corrosion on the surface of the housing facility on the basis of the corrosion medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
