The control unit detects the object based on the difference between a logarithm value of a first signal strength of a first signal that corresponds to the distance of the object from the electronic apparatus and that is calculated based on a first transmission signal having been transmitted at a first time and a first reception signal received as a reflected wave of the first transmission signal, and a logarithm value of a second signal strength of a second signal that corresponds to the distance of the object from the electronic apparatus and that is calculated based on a second transmission signal having been transmitted at a second time being a time before the first time and a second reception signal received as a reflected wave of the second transmission signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
