INK CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE

To provide an ink cartridge which can inhibit mixing of air bubbles.SOLUTION: An ink cartridge has a first ink storage part 30 having a first ink bag and a second ink storage part 40 having a second ink bag. The first ink storage part has an exposed part which is placed at the outer side relative to a device body and the second ink storage part is installed on an upper surface of the exposed part. A first connection port included in the first ink storage part is connected with a replenishing connection port included in the second ink storage part. The replenishing connection port or the first connection port has a pipe member in which both ends have sharp shapes. The pipe member has a portion protruding to the first ink bag side and a portion protruding to the second ink bag side, and holes are provided at both tips or positions near the tips. The pipe member is provided with a movable member which moves along the pipe member. The movable member is provided at one of both ends of the pipe member, closes the hole of the pipe member when the first ink storage part and the second ink storage part are not connected, and opens the hole of the pipe member when the first ink storage part and the second ink storage part are connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】気泡の混入を抑制できるインクカートリッジ。【解決手段】第１のインク袋を有する第１のインク収容部３０と、第２のインク袋を有する第２のインク収容部４０とを有する。第１のインク収容部は、装置本体よりも外に出る露出部を有し、露出部の上面に第２のインク収容部が設置される。第１のインク収容部が有する第１の接続口と、第２のインク収容部が有する継足し接続口とが接続する。継足し接続口又は第１接続口は、両端が鋭利形状の管部材を有する。管部材は、第１のインク袋側に突き出た部分と、第２のインク袋側に突き出た部分とを有し、両方の先端乃至先端近傍に穴が設けられ、管部材に沿って移動する移動部材が設けられている。移動部材は、管部材の両端のうちの一方に設けられ、第１のインク収容部と第２のインク収容部が接続していないとき管部材の穴を塞ぎ、第１のインク収容部と第２のインク収容部が接続しているとき管部材の穴を開放する。【選択図】図２
