To avoid reduction in printing quality due to influence of a change in a conveyance speed of a film.SOLUTION: A display device 1 according to one embodiment comprises: a conveyance unit 11 which conveys a film 100 applied with a register mark R; a first sensor 12 which detects and outputs the presence/absence of the register mark R; a printing unit 13 which performs printing on the film 100; a second sensor 14 which outputs information about a conveyance distance of the film 100 conveyed by the conveyance unit 11; and a control unit 15 which causes the printing unit 13 to perform printing on the film 100 on the basis of the conveyance distance of the film 100 from a detection time point of the register mark R.
