OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE AND LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS

To reduce the number of interlock mechanisms in an opening/closing device which has a plurality of opening/closing members.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge apparatus 1 comprises: a power source supply unit 202 which supplies a power source; a front cover 7 and a rear cover 8 which are provided in an openable/closable manner with slide movement; and an interlock mechanism 40 which has a switch 42a for switching between actuation and release of an interlock. The front cover 7 includes a first switching part 38 for a switching operation of the switch 42a. The rear cover 8 includes a second switching part 39 for a switching operation of the switch 42a. When the front cover 7 and the rear cover 8 are closed together, the first switching part 38 and the second switching part 39 approach the interlock mechanism 40 and the switch 42a is switched, the interlock is released.
