Zusammenfassung: | To improve a power saving function in an on-vehicle relay device.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device is used in an on-vehicle network including an on-vehicle relay device that relays a frame that is transmitted and received between on-vehicle function parts. The on-vehicle relay device includes a communication port group including a plurality of communication ports and a communication circuit group including a plurality of communication circuits provided on the plurality of communication ports respectively. The communication circuit group includes a plurality of object communication circuits in which kinds of sleep modes need to be unified. The communication port group includes a plurality of object communication ports corresponding to the plurality of object communication circuits respectively. There is provided a notifying part that when a new function part is connected to the object communication port to which the existing function parts are not connected, in a state where the existing function parts are connected to some of the plurality of object communication ports, notifies an operator of the communication port to which the new function part should be connected, on the basis of a combination of the kinds of sleep modes which are applied to the plurality of object communication circuits.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
