TRIGGER POINT COMPRESSION BELT

To allow a patient to alleviate by himself/herself, pain caused by a trigger point generated on a muscle adhesion part on the back part, the lumbar part, the lumbosacral part, and the hip part of the patient.SOLUTION: A trigger point compression belt is configured such that, using a flexible belt and a trigger point pad capable of locally compressing a muscle adhesion part of the body of a patient from an external part, in the trigger point pad, out of a plurality of different types of pads, a pad selected according to a symptom of the patient is used, then the flexible belt to which the selected pad is attached is wound around the body of the patient for attaching the flexible belt to the body of the patient and fixing the flexible belt thereto using a fastener, therefore the trigger point pad is brought into contact with an affected part of the body of the patient for continuously compressing the body of the patient in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】患者の背部、腰部、腰仙部、臀部の筋付着部に生じたトリガーポイントに起因する疼痛を患者が自分で緩快できるようにする。【解決手段】可撓性ベルトと患者の体の筋付着部を外部から局所的に圧迫することができるトリガーポイントパッドとを用い、トリガーポイントパッドは複数の異なるタイプのパッドの中から前記患者の症状に応じて選択されたパッドを用い、前記選択されたパッドを取り付けた可撓性ベルトを患者の体に巻き付けて装着して留め具を用いて固定し、トリガーポイントパッドを患者の体の患部に当てて患者の体に対して垂直方向に継続的に圧迫する。【選択図】図６
