Zusammenfassung: | To provide a carrying device capable of preventing a suction pad located on the outside of a medium from being brought into contact with a placing surface when the media with different sizes are sucked from a carrying surface to be carried.SOLUTION: A suction mechanism 5 of a carrying device 1 comprises: four first suction pads 12 arranged at positions overlapping four internal corners of a first suction area 11; and four second suction pads 14 arranged at positions overlapping four internal corners of a second suction area 13 including the first suction area 11 inside. Further, the suction mechanism 5 comprises: an intake mechanism 60; a first intake passage 61 connecting the intake mechanism 60 and the first suction pad 12; a second intake passage 62 connecting the intake mechanism 60 and the second suction pad 14; a connection/disconnection mechanism 63 for connecting/disconnecting the second intake passage 62; and a movable frame lifting mechanism 23 for moving the second suction pad 14 between the same suction position as the first suction pad 12 in a Z-axis direction and a retreat position separated away above the first suction pad 12 toward a Z2 direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
