Zusammenfassung:To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a raw material for a blast furnace by which it is possible to enhance quality and productivity of the raw material for the blast furnace, such as ferro coke.SOLUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a raw material for a blast furnace includes a pyrolysis furnace and a charging chute that is disposed above the pyrolysis furnace and supplies a carbon-containing material to the pyrolysis furnace. The pyrolysis furnace includes a gas ejection part that ejects gas toward a housing part surrounded by a wall part.
