To provide a resin composition that enables the manufacture of hollow molded bodies that retain the mechanical strength and appearance of their traditional counterparts, while enhancing the use of recycled materials.SOLUTION: A polyethylene resin composition comprises a recycled polyethylene resin (A) that satisfies specific requirements, and an ethylenic polymer (B) that satisfies specific requirements and comprises a constitutional unit derived from at least one α-olefin with a carbon number of 4-10. When the total content of components (A) and (B) is 100 mass%, the content of component (A) is 45 mass% or more and 95 mass% or less and the content of component (B) is 5 mass% or more and 55 mass% or less.
