Zusammenfassung:To provide a gas diffusion layer that can improve gas permeability without deteriorating shielding property against a reaction liquid.SOLUTION: A gas diffusion layer of the present invention comprises a gas diffusion substrate and a microporous layer formed on one surface of the gas diffusion substrate. The microporous layer includes: multiple filler particles including acicular protrusions, extending radially from the center; conductive particles; and a binder resin.
