To provide a substrate processing device that reliably transports a substrate and maintains the substrate and a final product based on the substrate at a high quality level by reviewing a configuration of the device with a batch-type module and a single-wafer-type module.SOLUTION: A hand that takes out one substrate W from a plurality of substrates W arranged in liquid is a pincer hand 87 that holds the substrate W. The pincer hand 87 has a pair of arms that is in contact with a periphery of the substrate W on one side of the substrate W and in contact with the periphery of the substrate W on the other side of the substrate W.
