To provide a cleaning liquid supply method that can supply clean washing liquid to a cap member and a cleaning member respectively.SOLUTION: A washing liquid supply mechanism 9 (a washing liquid discharge unit) discharges washing liquid Q to one object to be discharge of a cleaning roller 81 (a cleaning member) and a cap 53 (a cap member). In particular, the washing liquid supply mechanism 9 switches the object to be discharged between the cap 53 and the cleaning roller 81 to discharge the washing liquid Q to the object to be discharged (first discharge operation/second discharge operation).
