Zusammenfassung:	To provide a novel and useful system and method for single cell capture and processing in a cell capture and cell processing field.SOLUTION: Provided is a system and method for automated single cell capture and processing. The system includes: a deck which supports and arranges a set of sample processing elements; a gantry for activating tools for interactions with a set of sample processing elements supported by the deck; and a base part which supports various processing sub-systems and a control sub-system communicating with the processing sub-systems.
