Zusammenfassung: | To provide a method that can treat water to a quality that satisfies a wastewater standard for total nitrogen and satisfies a wastewater standard for total cyanide at a high level while suppressing a production of cyanogen chloride, for wastewater containing ammonia, thiocyanate ions, and cyanide compounds.SOLUTION: There is provided a wastewater treatment method including: step 1A of introducing wastewater into an alkali oxidation reaction tank, adjusting pH of the wastewater to 9.0 or more and 11.5 or less, and adding hypochlorite to the wastewater to cause a reaction, and oxidizing and decomposing at least thiocyanate ions in the wastewater, to obtain an alkaline oxidation reaction solution; and step 1C of introducing the alkaline oxidation reaction solution into a reduction reaction tank, adjusting pH of the alkaline oxidation reaction solution to 6.0 or more and 8.0 or less, and adding a reducing agent to the alkaline oxidation reaction solution to cause a reaction, and decomposing residual chlorine compounds in the alkaline oxidation reaction solution to obtain a reduced reaction solution. In step 1A, the alkali oxidation reaction solution having an ORP of 350+59×(11-pH) to 700+59×(11-pH) mV is obtained. 【課題】アンモニア、チオシアン酸イオン、及びシアン化合物を含有する廃水について、塩化シアンの生成を抑制しつつ、全窒素の排水基準を満足し、かつ全シアンの排水基準を高いレベルで満足する水質に処理することが可能な方法を提供する。【解決手段】上記廃水をアルカリ酸化反応槽に導入し、廃水のpHを9.0以上11.5以下に調整するとともに、廃水に次亜塩素酸塩を添加して反応させ、少なくとも廃水中のチオシアン酸イオンを酸化分解してアルカリ酸化反応液を得る工程1Aと、アルカリ酸化反応液を還元反応槽に導入し、アルカリ酸化反応液のpHを6.0以上8.0以下に調整するとともに、アルカリ酸化反応液に還元剤を添加して反応させ、アルカリ酸化反応液中の残留塩素化合物を分解して還元反応液を得る工程1Cとを含む、廃水の処理方法である。工程1Aでは、ORPが350+59×(11-pH)~700+59×(11-pH)mVのアルカリ酸化反応液を得る。工程1Cでは、ORPが400mV以下の還元反応液を得る。【選択図】なし |
