Zusammenfassung: | To provide a vehicle temperature control system and a temperature control method capable of reliably performing heating operation even when a heat source is difficult to be secured due to a low external temperature.SOLUTION: A vehicle temperature control system comprises a coolant circuit and a heat medium circuit. The heat medium circuit is configured to enable a low-pressure side circuit including a low-pressure side heat exchanger and a high-pressure side circuit including a high-pressure side heat exchanger to be arranged in a form of a parrel circuit, and is configured to enable setting a series circuit including the low-pressure side heat exchanger and the high-pressure side heat exchanger to be arranged in series. The vehicle temperature control system has a compressor heat source mode, as an operation mode to use the series circuit, which causes a heat medium discharged from the high-pressure side heat exchanger to flow into the low-pressure side heat exchanger through a temperature control unit and then return to the high-pressure side heat exchanger through an outdoor bypass passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
