Zusammenfassung:To propose a method and device for selecting an installation place of a wind direction/velocity sensor in order to fly a drone along power transmission lines connecting steel towers.SOLUTION: A method includes: determining a flight limitation wind velocity based on wind resistance performance and the maximum flight speed depending on an airframe of a drone; determining a threshold wind velocity from weather data which can be acquired on a flight route of the drone; converting the threshold wind velocity into a threshold wind velocity at a flight altitude of the drone in consideration of ground surface roughness where a predetermined power tower is to be located; calculating a threshold speed increase rate based on the flight limitation wind velocity and the converted threshold wind velocity; comparing the speed increase rate on the predetermined power tower with the threshold speed increase rate; and selecting the predetermined power tower as a place to install a wind direction/velocity sensor when the speed increase rate is equal to or more than the threshold speed increase rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】鉄塔を結ぶ送電線に沿ってドローンを飛行させるために、風向風速センサを設置する場所を選定する方法および装置を提案する。【解決手段】ドローンの機体に依存する耐風性能および最大飛行速度に基づいて、飛行制限風速を決定し、ドローンの飛行ルートにおける取得可能な気象データから閾値風速を決定し、所定の鉄塔が立地する地表面粗度を考慮して、閾値風速をドローンの飛行高度での閾値風速に換算し、飛行制限風速および換算した閾値風速に基づいて、閾値増速率を計算し、所定の鉄塔についての増速率と閾値増速率とを比較し、増速率が閾値増速率以上の場合、所定の鉄塔を、風向風速センサを設置する場所として選定する。【選択図】図4
