Zusammenfassung: | To provide a method for removing radioactive carbons (C14) from contaminated water including a radioactive substance.SOLUTION: The method for removing radioactive carbons from contaminated water including the radioactive carbons comprises: an alkali agent addition step of adding an alkali agent to the contaminated water, and adjusting pH of the contaminated water to 9 or higher to carbonate-ionize the radioactive carbons; a metal compound addition step of adding a metal compound of water-soluble alkali and/or alkaline earth to the contaminated water having pH of 9 or higher through the addition of the alkali agent in the alkali agent addition step and generating water-insoluble or insoluble carbon salts; a separation membrane water conduction step of conducting, through a separation membrane, the contaminated water having pH of 9 or higher through the addition of the alkali agent in the alkali agent addition step; and an insoluble object separation step of separating, from the contaminated water, an insoluble object generated in the metal compound addition step or the separation membrane water conduction step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】放射性物質を含んだ汚染水から放射性炭素(C14)を除去する放射性炭素除去方法を提供する。【解決手段】放射性炭素を含んだ汚染水から放射性炭素を除去する放射性炭素除去方法であって、前記汚染水にアルカリ剤を添加して、前記汚染水のpHを9以上に調整して放射性炭素を炭酸イオン化するアルカリ剤添加工程と、前記アルカリ剤添加工程でのアルカリ剤の添加によりpHが9以上となった前記汚染水に対して、水溶性のアルカリおよび/またはアルカリ土類の金属化合物を添加して、水不溶性または難溶性炭酸塩を生成させる金属化合物添加工程と、前記アルカリ剤添加工程でのアルカリ剤の添加によりpHが9以上となった前記汚染水を分離膜に通水する分離膜通水工程と、前記金属化合物添加工程または分離膜通水工程で生成した不溶物を前記汚染水から分離する不溶物分離工程と、を有することを特徴とする放射性炭素除去方法。【選択図】図4 |
