To provide a storage device that comprises a plurality of storage parts for storing articles.SOLUTION: In a battery exchanger, each of slots 620, 642, and 644 included in a plurality of battery housing parts has on an I/F board 326 a DIP switch that includes n switches provided so that they can be located at m different positions, and that can be switched to the (n-th power of m) switching states. The battery exchanger comprises: a control unit 124 that is a first control unit which controls reception and/or provision of articles in the plurality of slots; and the I/F board that is a second control unit provided on each of the plurality of slots to control each battery housing part.
