Zusammenfassung:	To provide a coil component capable of providing sufficient strength of its terminal and sufficient bond strength between the terminal and a substrate and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A coil component 1 comprise a coil C formed from a winding 2, an outer shell 4 provided to cover the coil C, and a terminal 5 continuous to the winding 2. A base end 11 of the terminal 5 is buried in the outer shell 4. A distal end 12 beyond the base end 11 is bent at the base end 11 and extends along a mounting surface M of the outer shell 4. The distal end 12 is positioned outside of the mounting surface M.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】端子部自体の強度及び端子部と基板との接合強度の双方を十分に確保できるコイル部品及びコイル部品の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】コイル部品１は、巻線２によって構成されたコイルＣと、コイルＣを覆うように設けられた外装体４と、巻線２に連続する端子部５と、を含んで構成されている。端子部５の基端部分１１は、外装体４内に埋没している。基端部分１１より先の先端部分１２は、基端部分１１から屈曲し、外装体４の実装面Ｍに沿って当該実装面Ｍよりも外側に位置している。【選択図】図２
