Zusammenfassung:To provide a movement apparatus capable of measuring tension of a belt without stopping operation of the apparatus with accuracy of a practically non-problem level with a relatively simple constitution, and a method for measuring tension of a belt.SOLUTION: A vibration member 1 is fixed on a fixing member 14 being a constitution member other than a belt 13 of a movement apparatus 10 in a state where a part of the vibration member comes into contact with a specific position of the belt 13, and the vibration member 1 is vibrated with vibration of the belt 13. A sensor 2 is fixed to the vibration member 1 to detect the vibration of the belt 13.
