Zusammenfassung:To provide an electric motor driving device that can improve control response of a rolling machine as a whole, while achieving load balance between driving devices for upper and lower rolls.SOLUTION: An electric motor driving device according to an embodiment comprises a master-side control part and a follower-side control part. The master-side control part controls a speed of a master-side electric motor. The follower-side control part calculates a ratio of a follower-side torque reference with respect to a master-side torque reference, memorizes the ratio when the ratio is in a predetermined range, outputs a value determined by multiplying the memorized ratio by the master-side torque reference, and controls a speed of the follower-side electric motor. The follower-side control part controls a speed of the follower-side electric motor when the ratio is out of the predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】上下ロールの駆動装置間の負荷バランスをとりながら、圧延機全体の制御応答を向上した電動機駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態の電動機駆動装置は、マスター側制御部と、フォロワー側制御部と、を備える。前記マスター側制御部は、マスター側の電動機を速度制御する。前記フォロワー側制御部は、マスター側のトルク基準に対するフォロワー側のトルク基準の比を計算し、前記比が所定範囲以内の場合に前記比を記憶して、記憶した比の値にマスター側のトルク基準に乗じて出力してフォロワー側の電動機を速度制御する。前記フォロワー側制御部は、前記比が所定範囲外の場合にフォロワー側の電動機を速度制御する。【選択図】図1
