Zusammenfassung:To provide a method for producing lithium-based polyanion particles for a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode active material, which is high in safety and is also capable of simplifying processes as regeneration processing of used lithium ion batteries.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing lithium-based polyanion particles for a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode active material, in which powder (X) obtained from a positive electrode of a used lithium ion secondary battery comprising a positive electrode including lithium-based polyanion particles (A) carrying carbon is used, and which includes the following steps of: (I) mixing the powder (X), a lithium source (Y), a reducing agent (Z), and a specific amount of carbon powder (C) to obtain slurry water I; (II) adjusting a pH of the obtained slurry water I to 9-14 to obtain slurry water II; and (III) subjecting the obtained slurry water II to heat treatment at 30-200°C. The reducing agent (Z) is one or two or more kinds selected from sodium sulfite, sodium thiosulfate, and ascorbic acid, and the lithium-based polyanion particles (A) are represented by a formula: LiaMnbFecMxPO4.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】使用済みリチウムイオン電池の再生処理として、安全性が高く工程の簡略化を図ることもできる、リチウムイオン二次電池正極活物質用リチウム系ポリアニオン粒子の製造方法に関する。【解決手段】炭素を担持してなるリチウム系ポリアニオン粒子(A)を含む正極によって構築された使用済みリチウムイオン二次電池の正極から得られる粉体(X)を用い、次の工程(I)粉体(X)、リチウム源(Y)、還元剤(Z)及び特定量のカーボン粉末(C)を混合して、スラリー水Iを得る工程、(II)得られたスラリー水IのpHを9~14に調整して、スラリー水IIを得る工程、(III)得られたスラリー水IIを30℃~200℃の加熱処理に付す工程を備える、リチウムイオン二次電池正極活物質用リチウム系ポリアニオン粒子の製造方法であって、還元剤(Z)が、亜硫酸ナトリウム、チオ硫酸ナトリウム、及びアスコルビン酸から選ばれる1種又は2種以上であり、かつリチウム系ポリアニオン粒子(A)が、式:LiaMnbFecMxPO4で表される、リチウムイオン二次電池正極活物質用リチウム系ポリアニオン粒子の製造方法。【選択図】なし
