Zusammenfassung:To provide a magnetic powder having radio wave absorbability of 50 to 90 GHz bands including a 76 GHz band and having a high radio wave absorption amount, a manufacturing method thereof, a radio wave absorber using the magnetic powder and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: In a magnetoplumbite-type ferrite magnetic powder, a metal element in a crystal of the magnetoplumbite-type ferrite magnetic powder satisfies a general formula, representing an atomic ratio, of A(1-x)RExFe(n-y-z)AlyCoz (in which A is one or more selected from among Sr, Ba and Ca, RE is one or more kinds of rare earth elements selected from among La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Y, Sm, Tb and Dy and it leads 0.01≤x≤0.70, 0.10≤y≤2.50, 0.00≤z≤1.00 and 10.50≤n≤12.50) and B (boron) is contained for 5 ppm or more and 10,000 ppm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】76GHz帯を含む50~90GHz帯域の電波吸収能を有し、かつ高い電波吸収量を有する磁性粉及びその製造方法並びに当該磁性粉を用いた電波吸収体及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】マグネトプランバイト型フェライト磁性粉の結晶中の金属元素が、原子比を示す一般式、A(1-x)RExFe(n-y-z)AlyCoz(ここで、Aは、Sr、Ba及びCaからなる群より選択される1種以上であり、REは、La、Ce、Pr、Nd、Y、Sm、Tb及びDyからなる群より選択される希土類元素の1種以上であり、0.01≦x≦0.70、0.10≦y≦2.50、0.00≦z≦1.00、10.50≦n≦12.50である)を満たし、B(ホウ素)を、5ppm以上、10000ppm以下で含む、マグネトプランバイト型フェライト磁性粉。【選択図】図1
