SMOKE DETECTOR

To provide a smoke detector for efficiently detecting smoke while reducing the number of components and suppressing intrusion of light from the outside.SOLUTION: A smoke detector includes: a smoke detection unit cover unit 3 having a bottom plate unit 31 and a plurality of shielding plate parts 32 erected from the bottom plate unit 31 along a peripheral edge of the bottom plate unit 31 and shielding light from the outside to a smoke detection unit 5; and an outer cover unit 2 that is provided on an outer peripheral side of the smoke detection unit cover unit 3 and has a smoke inflow port 22 for allowing smoke to flow into the smoke detection unit 5.
