Zusammenfassung: | To achieve further miniaturization as compared with a prior art.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a carriage on which a recording head is mounted and which can reciprocate in a first direction; a motor which generates driving force; a drive shaft which is rotated and driven by the driving force and extends in the first direction; a plurality of drive sections which are driven by the driving force transmitted through the driving shaft; a switching section which interlocks with the drive shaft and switches a transmission destination of the driving force in the plurality of drive sections; and an abutting section which rotates around a shaft support section so as to have an abutting position where the abutting section abuts on the carriage or a non-abutting position where the abutting section does not abut on the carriage and moves together with the carriage at the abutting position. 【課題】従来技術より小型化を実現する。【解決手段】本発明の一実施形態は、記録ヘッドが搭載され、第1方向に往復移動可能なキャリッジと、駆動力を発生するモータと、前記駆動力により回転駆動される駆動軸であって、前記第1方向に延在する駆動軸と、前記駆動軸を介して伝わる前記駆動力により駆動される複数の駆動部と、前記駆動軸と連動し、前記駆動力の伝達先を前記複数の駆動部の中で切替える切替え部と、前記キャリッジに当接する当接位置または当接しない非当接位置になるよう軸支部の周りを回転し、前記当接位置において前記キャリッジとともに移動する当接部と、を備え、前記切替え部は、前記当接部の移動によって移動する移動部によって前記駆動力の伝達先を切り替える、ことを特徴とする記録装置である。【選択図】図7 |
