【課題】人が着座したままで座の奥行きを調節できる椅子において、座の前後調節のスムース化を促進する。【解決手段】座２は座アウターシェル２３を備えており、座アウターシェル２３の左右側部が座支持部材２４における左右の土手状側枠部２４ａで支持されている。座２を前後動させる駆動部としてのラック４２とピニオンギア４５は土手状側枠部２４ａよりも内側に配置されているため、奥行き調節装置４４を左又は右の片側のみに配置した場合であっても、座２はこじれ無くスムースに前後動させることができる。【選択図】図８ |
