To provide an energization cut-off device that, even if a direct current is applied thereto, can cut off energization to safely stop a device.SOLUTION: An energization cut-off device 100 comprises: a conversion circuit 62 that converts an alternating current input from a primary side into a direct current and outputs the direct current from a secondary side; an energization control unit 65 that controls energization to the primary side of the conversion circuit 62; an energization cut-off unit 66 that is provided in series with the energization control unit 65; and a heating element 67 that is controlled by output from the secondary side of the conversion circuit 62 and is provided in proximity to the energization cut-off unit 66.
