Zusammenfassung:	To provide a technology that can prevent reverse rotation of a conveyance roller with a simple configuration without increasing a drive load when the conveyance roller rotates in a normal rotation direction.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a first roller 28 that rotates in a normal rotation direction and conveys a sheet in a conveyance direction; a first gear that transmits drive to the first roller 28; a second gear that engages with the first gear; an idling part in which the second gear can idly rotate; and a locking part that locks the second gear so as to restrict rotation of the second gear when the first gear receives a force that rotates the first roller in a second direction opposite to a first direction in which the first roller rotates in the normal rotation direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】簡易な構成により、搬送ローラの正転時の駆動負荷を高めることなく、搬送ローラの逆転を防止することができる技術を提供する。【解決手段】記録装置において、正転方向に回転してシートを搬送方向に搬送する第１ローラ２８と、第１ローラ２８へ駆動を伝達する第１ギアと、第１ギアと噛み合う第２ギアと、第２ギアが空転可能な空転部と、第１ギアが、第１ローラを正転方向に回転させる第１方向とは逆の第２方向に回転する力を受けた際に、第２ギアの回転を規制するように第２ギアを係止する係止部と、を備えることを特徴とする。【選択図】図８
