Zusammenfassung:	To provide a novel extraction method of Angelica acutiloba, and an external agent and an internal agent containing extract thereof.SOLUTION: An extraction method of Angelica acutiloba in which Angelica acutiloba is extracted by pretreatment agent that consists of water, its extraction residue is furthermore extracted by one or more kinds of extractant selected from the group consisting of water, lower alcohol and liquid polyalcohol, where temperature in the case where the extractant is water is higher than the pretreatment agent. Extract of a specific Angelica acutiloba of the present invention has excellent melanin generation suppressing effect, collagen production promoting effect, MMP inhibitory effect, hyaluronic acid production promoting effect and antioxidant effect, and also has excellent stability. The extract of a specific Angelica acutiloba of the present invention is not only applicable to a cosmetic field such as aging prevention of skin, but also applicable to a medical field such as suppression of dysfunction by aging, prevention, treatment or the like of cancer, and application to cosmetics, food products, quasi drugs, medicines and the like is expected.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】新規のトウキ抽出方法及びその抽出物を含有する外用剤及び内用剤を提供する。【解決手段】トウキを水からなる前処理剤で抽出し、その抽出残渣を更に水、低級アルコール及び液状多価アルコールからなる群より選ばれる１種又は２種以上の抽出剤で抽出したトウキの抽出方法であって、前記抽出剤が水の場合は前記前処理剤より高い温度であることを特徴とするトウキの抽出方法である。本願発明の特定のトウキの抽出物は、優れたメラニン生成抑制作用、コラーゲン産生促進作用、ＭＭＰ阻害作用、ヒアルロン酸産生促進作用及び抗酸化作用を有し、安定性にも優れていた。本願発明の特定のトウキの抽出物は、皮膚の老化予防といった美容分野だけでなく、老化による機能低下の抑制、ガンの予防、治療等といった医療分野にも利用でき、化粧品、食品、医薬部外品及び医薬品等への応用が期待される。【選択図】なし
