Zusammenfassung:To address such a problem that in a laser Doppler velocimeter, an optical modulator and an optical modulator drive system for determining a moving direction of a moving object are expensive and large, and for making the laser Doppler velocimeter further inexpensive, compact and easier to use, it is desirable to provide a configuration capable of determining the moving direction without using the optical modulator.SOLUTION: A laser Doppler velocimeter comprises a laser light source oscillating in a single mode, a collimator lens for making a laser beam from the laser light source parallel, a beam splitter for splitting the parallel beam into two, a mirror for reflecting one of the two laser beams split by the beam splitter and irradiating an object with the laser beam, and a light receiving part including a lens focusing scattered light from the object, a photodetector and an electric circuit. The laser Doppler velocimeter applies periodic signals to the laser light source to apply frequency modulation to the laser light, and causes the light receiving part to identify the moving direction of the moving object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】レーザドップラ速度計において、移動物体の移動方向を判断するための光変調器や光変調器駆動系は、高額であり大型である。レーザドップラ速度計を、より低価格でより小型として使いやすくするには、光変調器を用いずに移動方向の判断が可能な構成が望ましい。【解決手段】単一モード発振するレーザ光源と、該レーザ光源からのレーザビームを平行ビームにするコリメータレンズと、前記平行ビームを二分するビームスプリッタと、前記ビームスプリッタで二分されたレーザビームの一方を反射して物体に照射するミラーと、前記物体からの散乱光を集光するレンズと光検出器と電気回路を含む光受信部と、を有し、前記レーザ光源に周期的な信号を印加することによりレーザ光に周波数変調を施し、前記光受信部において前記移動する物体の移動方向を識別する。【選択図】図1
