Zusammenfassung:To suppress a section member from thermally shrinking in a surface light source which has the partition member.SOLUTION: A surface light source has a substrate, a plurality of light sources arranged on the substrate, and at least one section member arranged on the substrate. The section member has a plurality of first wall parts having a first ridge extending in a first direction, a plurality of second wall parts having a second ridge extending in a second direction crossing the first direction, and a section region including two opposite first wall parts and two opposite second wall parts, and is surrounded with the first ridge and second ridge in plan view.
