The registration device is operated by a shop clerk to perform registration processing for a commodity. The adjustment device is operated by a customer to perform adjustment processing for the commodity registered by the registration device. The adjustment device is connected to a change machine including a first storage unit that stores coins and a second storage unit capable of storing the coins stored in the first storage unit. When the coins stored in the first storage unit are more than or equal to a predetermined amount, the adjustment device is capable of switching from a normal state in which the adjustment processing can be performed to an idle state in which the adjustment processing cannot be performed.
