Zusammenfassung:To provide a three-dimensional (3D) glass-ceramic article formed by ceramming a glass article.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional glass ceramic article with a thickness between 0.1 mm and 2 mm has dimensional precision control of less than or equal to ± 0.1 mm and a transmission factor of 85% or greater at wavelengths from 400 mm to 800 nm at a sample thicknesses of 0.8 mm. A method for forming a three-dimensional glass ceramic article includes placing a nucleated glass article into a mold, and heating the nucleated glass article to a crystallization temperature, where the nucleated glass article is in the mold during the heating step.
