In the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the anode includes an anode collector and during charging, a lithium metal is deposited on the anode collector. The electrolyte includes an ion liquid and lithium salt and the ion liquid contains cations and anions. The cation is at least one selected from a group consisting of N-methyl-N-propylpyrrolidinium and N-butyl-N-methylpyrrolidinium. The anion is bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide. The lithium salt contains lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide. A concentration of the lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide in the electrolyte exceeds 0.05 mol/L and is less than 0.8 mol/L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
