To provide an antiviral composition that demonstrates superior wettability and high antiviral efficacy despite being non-alcoholic or low-alcohol type.SOLUTION: A liquid antiviral composition includes proanthocyanidin and a surfactant. The content of the proanthocyanidin is 0.0005 mass% or more and 5 mass% or less. The surfactant is a nonionic surfactant that lacks a polyoxyethylene chain and a polyglycerol skeleton in its structure. The surfactant content in the liquid antiviral composition is 0.01 mass% or more and 3 mass% or less.
