Zusammenfassung:	To provide a shape measuring method of a shape steel capable of improving measurement accuracy of dimensions, and a manufacturing method of the shape steel.SOLUTION: A shape measuring method of a shape steel includes: a cross-sectional profile measuring process for measuring a cross-sectional profile showing a shape of a cross section orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the shape steel having flanges at both ends of a web by a light section method; and a shape measuring process for measuring a shape of the shape steel by using the cross-sectional profile. The shape measuring process includes a reference position setting process for setting a measurement reference position of a dimension in the cross-sectional profile, and a dimension calculation process for calculating a dimension of a specific portion in the cross-sectional profile with reference to the measurement reference position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】寸法の測定精度を向上させることができる形鋼の形状測定方法、及び、形鋼の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】形鋼の形状測定方法は、ウェブの両端部にフランジを有する形鋼の長手方向に直交する断面の形状を表した断面プロフィールを、光切断法によって測定する断面プロフィール測定工程と、断面プロフィールを用いて形鋼の形状を測定する形状測定工程と、を有し、形状測定工程は、断面プロフィールにおける寸法の測定基準位置を設定する基準位置設定工程と、測定基準位置を基準にして断面プロフィールにおける特定部位の寸法を演算する寸法演算工程と、を有する。【選択図】図２
