Zusammenfassung:To provide a flow path switching device and a flow path switching method capable of preventing or suppressing overflow at a fluid blocking part in an old waterway when switching the fluid flow path by blocking the old waterway through which the fluid flows and allowing the fluid to flow into a new waterway branched from the old waterway instead of the old waterway.SOLUTION: A flow path switching device that switches from a first flow path 1 to allow the fluid to flow into a second flow path 2 branched from the first flow path 1 through which the fluid flows comprises a blocking part 7 that is provided on a downstream side of the first flow path 1 than a branch part 5 where the second flow path 2 branches from the first flow path 1 in the fluid flow direction, and that blocks the first flow path 1, and conversion parts 4, 8, 9, 10, 11 that are provided in the branch part 5 and generate a fluid flow of the fluid from the first flow path side 1 toward the second flow path 2 side by colliding with the fluid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】流体の流動する旧水路を遮断することによって旧水路に替えて旧水路から分岐した新水路に流体を流動させる、流体の流路の切り替えを行う際に、旧水路における流体の遮断部で越流が生じることを防止もしくは抑制することのできる流路切替え装置および流路切替え方法を提供する。【解決手段】流体の流動する第1流路1から分岐した第2流路2に対して、第1流路1から切り替えて流体を流動させる流路切り替え装置であって、流体の流動方向で、第1流路1から第2流路2が分岐している分岐部5よりも第1流路1の下流側に設けられ、第1流路1を遮断する遮断部7と、分岐部5に設けられ、流体と衝突することによって第1流路側1から第2流路2側に向かう流体の流体流を生じさせる転換部4,8,9,10,11とを備えている。【選択図】図1
