To provide a lower traveling body which can fix a transformer lifter to an intermediate position without the necessity of processing to the lower traveling body itself.SOLUTION: A lower traveling body of one embodiment of the present invention comprises a pair of crawler units which are arranged while separating from each other in a vehicle width direction, a car body to which the crawler units are detachably attached, and a transformer lifter for lifting the car body.
