Zusammenfassung:	To provide a technique which improves reusability of discharged liquid.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes: storage means which stores liquid to be supplied to a discharge head for discharging the liquid; and liquid recovery means which has a receiving section for receiving the liquid discharged from the discharge head. The liquid discharge device further includes a circulation flow passage which circulates the liquid between the storage means and the liquid recovery means without passing through the discharge head.
