Zusammenfassung:To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner that suppresses generation of jar.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a heat insulation material having a first surface, a second surface, and a through hole penetrating in a first direction from the first surface toward the second surface; and a body having a projection inserted into the through hole. The projection has a flat plate shape including a first main surface, a second main surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface. The projection has a tip exposed from the through hole. The first side surface includes a first inclined surface exposed from the through hole and inclined relative to the first direction, and the second side surface includes a second inclined surface exposed from the through hole and inclined relative to the first direction. The first inclined surface and the second inclined surface are inclined in a direction separated from each other toward the tip. Viewed from the first direction, in a direction from the first main surface toward the second main surface, a dimension of the projection is smaller than that of the through hole.
