To provide an oil-water separator capable of being reasonably and easily filled with adsorbent that adsorbs oil in a treatment tank vessel 20.SOLUTION: An oil-water separator in which a cylindrical treatment tank vessel 20 is filled at least partially with a compressible adsorbent material that adsorbs oil, so as to purify the treated water by adsorbing oil contained in the treated water, comprises: a push plate 45 being a member for holding down the adsorbent material so as to be compressed and held in the treatment tank vessel 20, the push plate having rigidity and liquid permeability; insertion ports 46 perforated at at least three places on sidewalls 20A and 20B forming the treatment tank vessel 20 so that the push plate 45 is held at a required position against the repulsive force of the compressed adsorbent material; and an insert retainer 47 that is inserted into the treatment tank vessel 20 at each of the inserton ports 46 and holds the push plate 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】処理槽容器２０内に、油を吸着する吸着材を、合理的且つ容易に充填することができる油水分離器を提供する。【解決手段】被処理水に含まれる油を吸着することで該被処理水を浄化するように、筒体状の処理槽容器２０内に、油を吸着する圧縮性のある吸着材が少なくとも一部に充填された油水分離器であって、前記処理槽容器２０内で、前記吸着材が圧縮されて保持されるように押え込む部材であって、剛性を有すると共に通液性を有する押え板４５と、該押え板４５が圧縮された前記吸着材の反発力に抗して所要の位置で保持されるように、処理槽容器２０を形成する周側壁２０Ａ、２０Ｂの少なくとも３箇所に透孔状に設けられた差し込み口４６と、該差し込み口４６の各々で前記処理槽容器２０内へ差し込まれて押え板４５を保持する差し込み保持材４７とを備える。【選択図】図８
